Welcome to House Style Craft. By accessing our website, requesting our services, or entering into any agreement with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
House Style Craft provides comprehensive home renovation services including but not limited to:
All services are performed by licensed and insured professionals in accordance with Massachusetts state regulations and local building codes. We reserve the right to refuse service if project requirements fall outside our scope of expertise or violate safety standards.
All estimates provided by House Style Craft are based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final project costs may vary due to:
Free estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Any changes to the original scope of work will be documented in writing and require client approval before proceeding.
Our standard payment structure is as follows:
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Financing options are available through our partnered lenders for qualified clients. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge. All prices are quoted in USD and exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Project timelines are estimated based on typical conditions and may be affected by factors including weather, material availability, permit processing times, and changes to project scope. We strive to complete all projects within the agreed timeframe and will communicate any delays promptly.
Client responsibilities that may affect timelines include timely selection of materials, providing access to the work site, and responding to communications within 48 hours.
Any changes to the original project scope must be requested in writing through our Change Order process. Both parties must sign a Change Order document detailing the modification, associated costs, and timeline impact before work proceeds.
House Style Craft reserves the right to propose alternative solutions if requested changes compromise structural integrity, safety, or code compliance.
We stand behind our work with the following warranties:
Warranties are void if modifications are made by unauthorized parties, if damage results from negligence or natural disasters, or if proper maintenance is not performed. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.
House Style Craft maintains comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our insurance certificates are available upon request. We are not liable for damages to personal property not directly related to the renovation work.
Clients are advised to notify their homeowners insurance provider of ongoing renovation work. We are not responsible for damages caused by pre-existing conditions or defects not apparent at the time of project commencement.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation terms apply:
House Style Craft reserves the right to terminate agreements for non-payment, unsafe working conditions, or breach of contract. In such cases, client is responsible for payment of work completed up to termination date.
All designs, plans, drawings, and creative works produced by House Style Craft remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon completion and full payment, clients receive a license to use the designs for their personal renovation project.
Photographs and project documentation may be used by House Style Craft for marketing purposes unless the client explicitly opts out in writing.
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect only necessary information to provide our services and do not sell client data to third parties. Personal information is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to mediation in Worcester County, Massachusetts. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding dispute proceedings and not engage in disparaging public communications during the resolution process.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States of America. Any legal proceedings shall take place in Worcester County, Massachusetts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
